iPhone Review
After having the iPhone for 2 weeks now I feel ready to review it. Note: I had 4 Motorola Qs and a Treo 700w thus most of my comparisons are between one of these and the iPhone. iPhone +s Multiple pages in Safari Speed- the iPhone is much faster responding to almost every command e.g. launching applications Wifi- neither of my previous ‘smartphones’ had built in Wifi so even though...

PicLens
I saw PicLens a few months ago and thought- sweet plugin, too bad it is only for Safari.  PicLens lets you view full screen slideshows of photos from several popular sites including Flickr and Facebook.  I would switch to Safari, if only it had Mouse Gestures I for some reason decided to check it out again today and saw that they now have versions for Firefox and even Internet Exploder. For...

Streaming Netflix movies on Mac in 2008
Alleyinsider reports that Netflix stated in their 4th quarter report that they hope to have the DRM issue that has been preventing them from allowing streaming movies on Macs worked out this year.  Netflix I think I love you even more.

How to leave Verizon and get an iPhone...
So I have been eyeing an iPhone since they first debuted, but decided to be patient until it would not be financially devastating (Even though the savings between Cingular’s phone and Verizon’s would have paid for the cost of the iPhone over the 2 year contract, I still faced a $175 early termination fee (ETF) to get out of my Verizon contract) to get one due to the fact that I was in...

Something better than Pocket Wizards?
Looks like some interesting possibilities coming from RadioPopper. Check out this article from LightingMods for details about wireless ETTL. So far I am more than happy with my PocketWizards, but this could surely shake the market.

Cheating
It looks like somebody has been cheating in the latest poll. Seems Jared who is at Northwoods Community Church has been voting repeatedly for himself.

Burnin'
Burning DVDs that are playable in a home DVD player is one thing that I loathe to do, since you have to use either play it off of your timeline in Final Cut which often doesn’t work right or use iDVD or DVD Studio. The freeware program Burn looks like a lightweight easy alternative to the aforementioned methods. In other news it looks like John got our new baby hooked up, I can’t wait...

There is apparently no limit to how many concourses and time changes an airline can make to your flight The guy in front of us in line deserved to be tazed in order to improve his attitude After Effects will continue rendering where it left off when you plug it in after your laptop battery dies I spent more time in airports than I did on planes today First thing Jared pulls out of his suitcase...

2007 Thoughts
I know that usually at the end of a year we all sit around and look forward and try to figure out what we can do better the next year. But Wednesday as I was cutting the service video for the website I looked back and realized how much I had seen God do in the past year at our church. It was awesome to sit there and watch the video (skip ~76 min. in)  and think that not only had God done all of...
